300-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training: Online Self-Study, Self-Paced Remote Learning

This is a Yoga Alliance registered teacher training.

When you accept the title of “yoga teacher”, you are accepting the responsibility and committing to the ongoing study and practice of the yoga system.

This is a self-paced, self-study mentoring style program, as opposed to
the usual current type of online training available.

When I first began my journey towards teaching yoga, teacher certifications were few and far between. I was lucky enough to find a teacher willing to mentor me – I was located on the east coast while she was on the west coast. We would speak on the phone, she would recommend readings and give me written assignments. I would record myself teaching, using VHS tapes – yes, VHS tapes! I have always been so grateful that I had this type of a strong mentorship relationship to support the growth of my personal practice and teaching.
This remote, self-study program is born out of that experience and my desire to replicate that same kind of mentoring support and guidance.

This program is designed to specifically support your growth as a yoga teacher.
Which includes a dedicated daily, personal practice that goes beyond asana.
The LKPY 300-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training curriculum was developed from my own experience as a yoga teacher for three decades and as a teacher trainer for the last 15 years.
The topics and chosen studies are based on what I have personally found to support not only my growth in becoming a better teacher over the years, but deepening my
personal practice and study.

Using the teachable.com platform, you will progress through each course
on your own schedule.
Along with study material supplied and developed by Lyn, which includes a training manual, we will be using online courses through yogicstudies.com, yoganatomy.com, and pranamaya.com.
Study materials include video lectures with quizzes to asses your knowledge, reading assignments with written homework that includes completing study guide questions and reflections essays. You will have a couple final projects where you will be required to submit audio recordings of you teaching.
Through the length of your studies, you will receive unlimited support from Lyn via email communication. Those who know me know that I take seriously my guidance in helping teachers grow, challenge themselves, and find their truth.
Each trainee will receive personalized guidance and support.
This type of study platform is specifically for those who are disciplined, motivated, and committed to the ongoing study of yoga.

The materials for this program are in the process of being uploaded to the teachable.com platform.
The program will be ready and launched by March 1, 2023.
