If we want to make positive and transformative change, our yoga practice cannot stop at self-improvement. It requires a conscious effort in trying to bring about the changes we want to see in the world.

No one should have to suffer from hate for who they are.

Meet our LKPY Mother-Daughter Yoga Teacher Training Duo!  Jean completed her 200-hour level certification two years ago and is currently in the process of completing the 300-hour advanced level course - upleveling to a 500-hour certified teacher!  Leila is a RHS senior, graduating this year, and also Jean’s daughter! Leila began practicing yoga over a year ago and found an immediate connection to the practice. She enrolled herself into the LKPY 200-hour online program and is currently working towards earning her yoga teacher certification.

That’s a wrap! Our very first 300-hour advanced training is officially behind us and we can give a huge congratulations to the very first LKPY 500-hour certified teachers! Meeting here almost every Tuesday since last September, they were dedicated and worked hard (and we had some fun too). I’m honored to have been able to work with these three amazing people. And lucky to have them as teachers at LKPY!
