The meditaiton group normally meets on Thursday evenings from 7:20-7:50.
Only $10, but we do request that you register online in advance the night before.
Join us for a non-sectarian meditation experience.
During the 30 minute session, we will:
-Talk about what meditation is…and what it isn’t
-Learn simple stretches to do before meditation
-Discover how to sit properly during meditation
-Practice a “calm-abiding” meditation on the breath
-Practice a guided meditation on compassion and loving kindness
-Have a chance to ask questions and learn from each other
Try it once and take away the tools to begin your own daily meditation practice.
Or come back more often to meditate as a group.
Carin and Aaron Crook live in Ridgefield, CT, with their two children. They have been offering meditation workshops in town for several years following the curriculum of Dharmakaya.org under the guidance of H.E. Trungram Gyaltrul Rinpoche Ph.D.
