A Yoga Alliance Registered Program
Weekend and weekday training schedules are available!
This is an Immersion style program.
Created for those interested in becoming a certified yoga teacher
or students hoping to deepen their practice.

In today’s world, we have become accustomed to instant gratification. Lyn believes that just like our yoga practice, training to become a yoga teacher is not something that can or should be rushed. This program is designed with that in mind by allowing you to immerse yourself deeply in the practice. Not only learning to lead a sequence and understand yoga philosophy, but also discovering what connects you to the practice on your mat and off.

Full participation is encouraged, but you are free to choose which sessions you attend or not. About The Program:

With 20 years teaching experience and 8 years training teachers, Lyn is recognized as a leader in the area for her teacher training program. If you practice at local yoga studios, there is a good chance you have been instructed by one of Lyn’s students. With a reputation for helping teachers to find their authentic voice, you will leave training with the tools and ability to guide a class with skill, leadership and knowledge.
This program prepares you to lead an all levels yoga class – beginners to experienced students.

You will learn to weave a perfect blend of technical knowledge and philosophy that speaks directly to the students, while still keeping the pace of the class.
Often there is a disconnect with our practice on the mat and how it translates to helping us off the mat – through the study of the Yamas and Niyamas you will not only awaken the connection for yourself but guide your students towards connection as well.  Emphasis will be on how to apply yoga philosophy and principles not only in teaching, but also in everyday living.

Learn to take control and command a class as you encourage students to be guided by their intuition – Buddhi – and work intelligently on their mats.

A minimum of 12 months yoga practice experience is recommended.
However, trainees are not required to perform advanced asanas.
This program is for anyone interested in deepening their understanding of yoga.

Be prepared to commit and work hard during training sessions. But also plan to spend time outside of the classroom practicing, reviewing training lessons and completing non-contact hour assignments.

Teaching yoga is not something you “do”, but something you “live”. This program allows you to completely immerse yourself in the process. Finish the program with the ability to teach yoga, not just instruct.

Online Anatomy Course:

For the anatomy component of your training, I’m partnering with world-renowned Yoga Educators & best-selling authors of Yoga Anatomy, Leslie Kaminoff & Amy Matthews.

Using what they’ve learned in their combined 50-years of experience training yoga teachers, they’ve created a unique online course that’s exclusively available through Teacher Training programs: Fundamentals.

This is not your average anatomy training.

Don’t expect hours of “which bone is which” that make you feel like you’re back in high school science classes…

Leslie & Amy spend time on the things that matter most to a yoga teacher and skip the memorization.

They’ll help you establish a broad base of knowledge by sharing examples, analogies, stories, and guiding you through physical experiments that make the material helpful and applicable to teaching yoga to students.

Leslie & Amy will also share their own favorite teaching strategies like…

* How to make poses accessible for any student
* What to do when students have an injury and still want to practice
* Simple cues that help every student find success on the mat

Leslie and Amy’s unique blend of humor and expertise make them the absolute best team to guide you through this phase of your journey.

“….I am grateful to Lyn for her outstanding YTT Program I had just completed. Not only did I obtain the technical knowledge needed to teach which included a greater understanding of the asanas and the principles of alignment, I was also able to find my voice and teach with great confidence. The degree of practice teaching time and constructive feedback from Lyn and her staff were a tremendous benefit in guiding me through this process. I finished this training program well prepared and incredibly inspired to teach effectively to a diverse body of students. What an awesome experience it has been. Thank you!” J.O.
