Self-Paced: Foundations 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

About Course

Foundations: 200-Hour Level One Yoga Teacher Training

This online program offers the same quality content as the in-person without the timelines or the cost of a scheduled group training – plus access never expires!
My hope is this option will make training more accessible to most, while returning to a traditional mentor-student style relationship which can be lost in larger group trainings. Less expensive does not mean ‘easier’.
If anything, this training will require more discipline than a typical group style training. As yoga has become more popular, there has also developed a ‘rush’ with potential new teachers to become certified – rather than commit to the practice and spend time developing practice skills that naturally evolve into teaching skills.
When you have true knowledge, whether it be about a pose or philosophy, there is no need for ‘memorization’.
Teaching, sharing with others what you know, becomes a natural next step.
And will not require reading off of a script.

To be a yoga teacher means to spend time on your mat practicing, not in a group class environment, but on your own.
It requires a desire to dive into the history and philosophy in order to develop a lifestyle of yoga off the mat – spiritual bypassing is not an option.
All of this requires time and dedication, and can’t be rushed.

This program returns to the traditional student/mentor relationship.
Throughout your studies, you will receive unlimited mentoring support from me.
You can choose to have email only communication – I am very thorough and detailed with my communications.
Or you can opt in for in-person mentoring sessions which are an additional fee. ($150 per session, no longer than 60 minutes)

This type of program only works if you are disciplined, committed to learning, and desire deepening your practice.

Please see the course curriculum listed below for a detailed breakdown of the program’s units of study.
